Hello
I have notice that there is a facility to send SMS messages to our patients with appointment reminders, etc.
Where do we need to sign up for that service?
Thanks,
Y.
From ClinicOffice 2005, please click File | Settings, then from the Global Settings screen click the button which says IntelliSMS Setup.
This will bring up the IntelliSMS Setup screen which gives you more information.
The website which provides the SMS service that ClinicOffice 2005 uses is http://www.intellisoftware.co.uk/
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the information.
Once we sign up and gt an account, how does it work within CO2005?
Can it be set up so that when you enter a new appoinemtn there is an option to set up an automatic SMS say 3 hours prior to the appointment?
Or does this need to be done automatically?
The best thing we can recommend is try it for yourself! Also there is a whole topic devoted to this in the User Guide which gives you a step-by-step guide how to send sms messages from within ClinicOffice.
Click the Help menu, then click ClinicOffice User Guide. If that option doesn’t appear to be there, then you could be using an old version of the CO2005 trial. Please uninstall it and download the trial again.
Hope this helps!
Hi
I am a user based in Australia.
Is it possible to send up using a local SMS sending service instead of IntelliSoftware?
The reason being is I prefer paying in the local currency (AUD).
Cheers
Hi
The new version of the software will use the text anywhere service found at https://www.textanywhere.net/ you may wish to take a look at their website to see if they allow for you to pay with AUD.
If not and you can find a company like intellisms or textanywhere who offer an sms gateway service then we can develop this for you, but as it would only be for you then we would have to pass on the development costs.
Hope this has helped.
