Q. What is ClinicOffice Connect?

It’s a small MS Windows program which enhances the ClinicOffice Hosted edition.

A hosted program doesn’t run on your computer – it runs on a server “in the cloud”. ClinicOffice Connect helps bridge the gap by enhancing communication between your PC and our cloud server.

Q. What does ClinicOffice Connect actually do?

It allows you to:

  • Use your scanners/cameras/imaging devices directly with ClinicOffice
  • Open ClinicOffice documents with apps installed on your PC (e.g. Word, Excel etc.)
  • Browse your own file system when saving/loading files
  • Directly integrate with email programs installed on your PC (e.g. Outlook)
  • Integrates with your microphone for better A.I. voice transcription

Q. What do I need to do?

Simply download the setup file and install it on your Windows computer!

Probably the best option is to download the setup file (link above) and install it via a logon script.

Installing “over the top” of an existing installation is harmless – in fact that’s how to update this app in future if needed. Also you can specify command line switches such as /SILENT or /VERYSILENT to remove user interaction. No, it’s not essential requirement, but for Windows computers it will definitely enhance your experience when using the ClinicOffice Hosted Edition.
