Payment Integration

Over the years we have integrated ClinicOffice with a number of payment providers, but our current recommended payment partner is BLINK. Signing up for an account with BLINK will allow you to:

  • Quickly and easily process credit/debit cards directly from ClinicOffice
  • Send out invoices with a secure payment link so that clients can pay online
  • Allow patients to book and pay for their own appointments via the Online Booking System
  • (optionally) provide you with a physical card machine for face-to-face payments

What are the benefits?

  • Increased Efficiency – Normally you would have to process a card payment AND record the payment in ClinicOffice. This becomes a one-step process, saving time and improving efficiency.
  • PCI DSS Compliance – BLINK is 100% PCI DSS compliant. Confidential card details are never stored on your computers and sensitive data is always encrypted.
  • Low Transaction Costs – Through our partnership, BLINK offer very competitive rates. If you currently use another payment provider, BLINK can usually match or even beat your existing card processing rates.
  • Improved Cashflow with Online Payments – The ability to send online payment links directly from ClinicOffice means that invoices often get paid more quickly, resulting in better cashflow for your business.

What are the costs and requirements?

There are ABSOLUTELY no charges from us! The only thing to note is that to accept online payments (e.g. pay-by-link) from within ClinicOffice, you need to be either a Hosted customer, or subscribe to our Online Services.

If you decide to use BLINK, you would have your own account with them and they will support you with all your card processing requirements. As with any payment provider, there is a small ‘per transaction’ cost and there may be monthly fees (for example card machine rental) depending on what services you choose.

What if I already use another payment provider and I’m happy with them?

In our experience, it’s still worthwhile speaking to BLINK. There’s no obligation to proceed, but if you provide them with your current card transaction rates and fees, they may well be able to beat them and save you money! At the very least, if you already have a superb rate with your current payment provider and BLINK can’t beat it, then you know you’ve got a good deal!

How do I find out more?

IMPORTANT! Please DO NOT contact BLINK directly from their website!

  • The operator you speak to may have no knowledge of ClinicOffice or our integration
  • They may provide you with a different account type which is not compatible with ClinicOffice
  • You won’t necessarily be offered the best rates!
