It also offers a good degree of business integration rather than solely just being a Patient Admin System for Electronic Health Records. Within the system you can generate all financial transactions associated with treatments and appointments such as invoices, credit notes refunds; you can take card payments with an embedded virtual terminal; you can manage stock / consumables orders and inventory. In the case of the financial transactions, in some of the clinics we can transfer a file directly to Xero for automatic batch upload.
In terms of support, the tech team are based in the UK and are very knowledgeable and easily accessible. They have the capability to remote onto a staff member’s system and resolve issues and also for certain bespoke works such as reports and configuring certain functionality they can do this on the fly and send an update file which you can run once the change is completed.
Overall, I think the system has been a solid platform for many of the clinics I work with to build their business on. The system pricing is excellent value for money given the level of functionality within the software and the responsiveness of the team and I would encourage anyone starting up a new clinic to consider Clinic Office as their Patient Admin System.
