How to disable automatic update checking?

If you have quite a lot of computers running local installations of ClinicOffice, it is sometimes best to disable the automatic update checking on each PC (apart from perhaps the Administrator’s computer so that they can be notified when an update is available).

Here’s how to disable automatic update checking :-

[1] Click the View tab
[2] Click Program Settings
[3] From the Local PC Settings tab untick the box which says –
Automatically check for program updates

[4] Click OK

Repeat these steps for each computer to disable the automatic update checking. Please note that this setting ONLY affects the automatic check which occurs when the program starts up. Users can still click the Check for Program Updates button to manually check for updates.
