STEP 1: Choose your Edition

For your initial license, you can choose from 3 different editions to suit your needs…

Startup Edition

Professional Edition

Server Edition

For smaller clinics or those just starting out

Limited to 300 patients and 2 practitioners ‘Stand-alone’ only – i.e. for use on one computer and not networkable

The Startup Edition has been designed for smaller clinics or those just starting out.

There is a limit of 300 patient records and 2 practitioners and it’s also not networkable (i.e. it will only run on one computer).

Once you reach the patient or practitioner limits, you can easily upgrade to the Professional Edition by simply paying the difference.

The Professional Edition is best suited to small or medium sized clinics.

There are no patient or practitioner limitations and it’s network-ready so your database can be accessed from multiple computers.

This edition is recommended for up to 5 users. You can easily upgrade to the Server Edition by simply paying the difference.

The Server Edition is designed for larger clinics.

There are no patient or practitioner limitations and it runs on a Client/Server Database Engine which means it can easily handle millions of records and dozens of concurrent users.

We recommend the Server Edition if you have more than 5 users accessing your database at the same time, or if you have a very large database.

STEP 2: Additional Licenses

For the Startup and Professional Editions, licenses are on a “per computer” basis. If you have 3 PCs which require ClinicOffice, you need to purchase 3 licenses (1 initial + 2 additional licenses).

For the Server Edition, licenses are on a “per concurrent user” basis. You can install it on as many computers as you wish. The question is: how many people will be using the system simultaneously? If you have 10 PCs and 20 staff members but only 6 people will use ClinicOffice at the same time, then you only need to purchase 6 licenses (1 initial + 5 additional licenses). Of course, you can easily buy additional licenses later on and they can be activated for you instantly.

Technically, the “additional licenses” are actually “network” licenses, so if you’re going to have a separate database at each site, then yes you will need to purchase an initial license for each site. However, we are more than happy to offer discounts for larger purchases, so please contact our sales team and we’ll be happy to help!

STEP 3: Add-On Modules

Docs and Scanning

Allows you to save documents/images/files in your database, attaching them to patient records. Also allows your scanner to integrate directly with ClinicOffice.

Clinical Forms

You can add comprehensive clinical notes as standard. This module allows you to design advanced forms to add even more detail and structure to your clinical notes.

Visual Notes

Draw “visual notes” on images which can be attached to clinical records. Select from a library of visual templates or import your own templates.

Email Manager

Turns ClinicOffice into a full email program. Integrates emails with your patient and contact records and enhances team collaberation for your staff.

Stock Control

Allows you to keep track of stock levels for items at your clinic. You can also raise Purchase Orders and log deliveries into stock when they’re received.

Online Diary

The Online Diary allows you (and your staff) to view your diary via any web-browser (on any device). It also allows patients to login and book their own appointments!
