Text Anywhere – mobile number needed?

Hello,

I want to create a Text Anywhere account for our clinic, although we do not have a clinic mobile number to sign up with – meaning we may have to use one of our own personal mobile numbers.

Therefore my question is, if we end up using our personal number(s) are there any charges we might incur? It’s a silly question but what is the purpose of signing up with a mobile number? I thought I’d ask before signing up straight away.
