Visual notes

Hello

We have been looking into adding custom fields and came across the visual notes, I noticed on the example that there is ´dental charting´ and ´dental perio charting´. I did see a post about adding this and it said you cannot actually chart, but also this post was from 2011, i would like to ask if there has been any progress to the visual notes especially dental charting and perio charting from this time?
