We have the server edition of Clinic Office v4

The new Email module looks a very powerful addition. Before we can use it we need to license the Email Management Module at additional cost?

I agree, it looks like it, but I am not able to test it, as would be possbile when I install a trial version (true?).
Is there a possibility to get a trial license for the email module for one month within a current installation?

    Hi there,

Yes, if you have a PC that hasn’t got ClinicOffice installed on it, then you could download the trial version and try out the E-Mail manager.

    I hope this helps 😀

Hi Mat, this was not exactly what I meant. 😕
I have installed a trial version on my desktop computer and set the email settings for my Google account. I am pretty sure that these settings are correct (pop.gmail.com, use SSL, port 995, username, password), but I get an error when trying to synchronize (receive):

      Assembly version 6.0.2.220
MailBee.MailBeeInvalidStateException : Not yet connected to the server. Call connect first.
Unable to connect to the server. Call connect first.
      Unable to connect via TLS/SSL

Sending is no problem at all, using SSL.

    Hi there,

I have been synchronising my Gmail account and I have been using port 110 for my pop.gmail.com without the SSL box ticked.

SMTP should be port 25 without the SSL box ticked.

Hope this is ok for you. 😀
