Is there a way to add a notification on the system to alert reception when a patient has not been in the clinic for 6-8 weeks and send out a generic message to them? :-k Or do you have to do it manually and add a flag to every patient record?
Thank you

Hi there,
Thanks for your post.
If you look at the Reports and Templates section, you will find a report called Inactive Patient Report.
You can search for patients last appointment date/time.
To add an automatic notification, there are a couple of options.
From that list, you could go into each record and update it by either selecting the patient category as INACTIVE or by (as you suggested) raising a flag.
There maybe a way we can write a custom script to automatically notify reception if they haven’t been in, but you would need to purchase the SCRIPTING MODULE and depending on the complexity of the work, there maybe an additional charge for the actual script.
I hope this is useful. Feel free to reply if you need anything else. 😀
Wouldn’t it be possible by creating a rule in the contact centre? Personally I would have a look at the ‘appointment based rule’, and trigger it 8 weeks after the last appointment.
Hey Roelof,
Hope you are well,
Again your contributions are much appreciated. That would also be a good alternative!
Thanks again
