We often have customers who leave without paying and it can become quite awkward and time consuming to chase them. Our previous system would automatically flag people who owed money by showing their name on any appointment in red so you knew that they owed money from a previous visit. This would then trigger you to go into the patient where it would flash up on every screen that they owed money. Is there are way for clinic office to make it easier for users to see customers who owe money. Currently we have to put flags manually on people that owe money which is not ideal, so that the receptionists can see at a glance that money is owed. AS they often just do quick transaction from the appointment, they never get as far as opening the patient record and going to the finance tab, where it shows that money is owed.

Hi – thanks for your post.
If you go to DIARY and click the PATIENT INFO button (near the refesh button at the top), this will display the Patient Information window which shows you (among other things) the account balance for the patient associated with the currently selected appointment. This window can be left open to float over the diary so that each time you click on an appointment, you will see the relevant information for that patient.
Please let us know if that helps.
Many thanks!October 31, 2014 at 5:36 pm #33486
Just following on from the last post in the update build 1083, which is soon to be released, there will be an additional option for the diary that can mark the text for an appointment red if the patient is in debt. This can be enabled via the Diary Options -> Visual Settings -> Indicate account balance with caption colouring.
Hope this helps.
