Patient discounts

Is there any way to put a straight amount as a discount for a patient, rather than just a percentage?

For kids and friends I use the percentage discount, which is fine, but we also sell treatment vouchers for treatments, or £5 / £10, so sometimes it’s easier to put the discount in as a straight amount.

Hi – thanks for your question.

You can simply add an extra line to the invoice called “Discount” and put a negative value as the unit cost e.g. -£10.00. If you’re doing this regularly then it might be a good idea to create an ITEM record called “Discount”.
