    When you enter a quick transaction against an appointment the payment value should auto-fill with the invoice total amount (as in the current version)

    It already does. Please make sure you have setup the default charge item in the Appointment Type screen.


    I think your refering to the cost of the item. I want the payment amount to default to the invoice amount so that you don’t have to enter it. Or have I misunderstood you? Thanks Steve



    Your are absolutely correct. Sorry for the misunderstanding. This is currently a purposeful design as we don’t want accidental payments! For example if it were to default automatically with the correct amount in the payment box you could press save and close accidentally even though the patient has not paid!.

    We are considering a change to this please watch out for further updates.
