Every time we try and send a single appointment reminder by right clicking on the appointment, we get the following error message…
Can you help please…

This indicates that there is a problem with one of your contact rules. Have you tried doing what the message suggests?
i.e. Go to the Contact Centre and open each of your Contact Rules in turn. You will find that one of them is invalid. You will either need to correct the invalid rule and re-save it, or otherwise delete the invalid rule and re-create it.
Please let us know if this resolves the problem for you.

The Contact Centre has one rule in it which runs every day without problem. It just seems that when you try and manually send an appointment confirmation/reminder by right clicking on an appt it crashes.
Any other suggestions?

We’ve looked into this in more detail, and it may be that the default text for sending an adhoc appointment reminder has become invalid (although I have no idea how that could have happened).
Please try the following :-
Click TOOLS | Advanced DB Operation
Copy and paste the following into the Advanced DB Operation box :-
delete from setting where section='AppReminder' and name='DefaultSettings'
 Click the EXECUTE button
Log off the database and log back on (this clears any cached data)
This will remove the invalid data and should allow you to send the appointment reminders again.
