    In our latest 1094 update, we have introduced a standalone ClinicOffice SMS service. We felt that to bring everything under one umbrella would better equip us to support our customers, rather than relying on third party integration for SMS reminders. This update also allows for replies to messages inside ClinicOffice, just making things easier for everyone.

    **If you still have credits remaining on your TextAnywhere account for our old SMS system, then you can continue to use these until they run out, then switch to our new service when you are ready.**

    To start using this service, you will need to enable it by going to the VIEW tab, then PROGRAM SETTINGS then GLOBAL SETTINGS and click the option to set up SMS account.

    You will then see the following screen:

    The option to ENABLE SMS messaging needs to be ticked, then it’s always a good idea to press the Test Connection button. You can then use our Client Portal link to purchase credits. If you don’t know your customer details, then you can contact us for them.

    In the update, the contact centre has been moved to the patient drop-down menu:


    There is also a new SMS centre feature that allows you to view messages in real time, along with conversation strings and to receive replies. This can be seen below:
