    Hi all,

    We are trying to set up a rule so once patients are late or have missed an appointment, they go on to the text message rule. I.e they now get a text message before each appointment. Save sending everyone a message.

    Is there a way of doing this? Can we assign a flag to this type of patients so that we can create a rule? If so do we have to add a new flag type? Or is there another way of doing this.

    I think the best thing would be to create an Appointment based rule. You can set it to run so many days after an appointment date. You can also do it for patients with a specific flag.

    To look at this, go to CONTACT CENTRE and then NEW RULE. Then click the 3rd option which says APPOINTMENT BASED RULE.

    Have a look at the options there and let me know how you get on!
