I think your refering to the cost of the item. I want the payment amount to default to the invoice amount so that you don’t have to enter it. Or have I misunderstood you? Thanks Steve
We are using your latest Beta release and we are not using uppercase user names and passwords. Hoping to resolve by copying the database from my home PC and taking to the clinic. Will keep you posted if this works.
brilliant! Thank you…
Hi
The new version of the software will use the text anywhere service found at https://www.textanywhere.net/ you may wish to take a look at their website to see if they allow for you to pay with AUD.
If not and you can find a company like intellisms or textanywhere who offer an sms gateway service then we can develop this for you, but as it would only be for you then we would have to pass on the development costs.
Hope this has helped.
Hi
I am a user based in Australia.
Is it possible to send up using a local SMS sending service instead of IntelliSoftware?
The reason being is I prefer paying in the local currency (AUD).
Cheers

December 21, 2007 at 9:23 am in reply to: Accessing a Clinic Office XP database from a remote location #31974Hi Phil,
Some customers are using remote desktop to connect into the clinic’s network. This can be done by purchasing terminal services which will allow you to log into your clinic over a broadband connection with more than one windows session (so that multiple users can use ClinicOffice simultaneously.
There are also some other ‘unofficial’ patches that will allow you to log in remotely to any Windows XP Pro machine with multiple sessions, although we do have to emphasise that this setup is not supported by Microsoft.
If you would like help setting this up we can help. We can even do this for free if you join the support plan. Just one last thing to note is that you will need to make sure you have sufficient licenses for each ‘concurrent user’ of ClinicOffice.
I hope this helps.
Dan
Hi Dave
Thanks for spotting that. We will look into it as soon as we can.
Many Thanks
Hi Maarten
Yes the ClinicOffice v4 software uses a different database schema to the one used in co2005. This (unfortunately) makes it impossible to just log onto your current database. The conversion utility works well and it is quite a fast process.
Have a go if you have any problems we will be happy to help!
Hi Dan,
So the CO2005 database is located on my server. On my server i have to convert it to aCOv4 database and then i can log in to it ?
😕
MaartenHi Maarten
The Beta2 that has been released is not a replacement of your current clinicoffice and neither will it work just connecting to your database. You will need to use the clinicoffice converter to convert your database to ClinicOffice v4 (this will leave your current database intact and creat a copy that it then converts for us). Once you have done this you will be able to log in using your normal details.
We are going to release a Beta of the ClientServer version in the comming weeks. Just prior to release.
If you have any questions about the conversion please feel free to contact us.
Many thanks 😀
Hi Colm
Sorry we didn’t answr that question
For our FTP site we use WSFTP Pro makes it much easier than playing around the old fashioned way!
Hope this helps
Dan
and there was me thinking it was the latest one!!! oops!
OK, will check out the website – thank you
Guys file uploaded..
That was really cool…
How do you do that???? have a ftp site which uploads that easily..
Colm
Hi Colm
That would be very useful. We will take a look at it today and see if we can sort it out for you.
You can either upload it to our ftp accout which is ftp://91.84.8.90 or you can email it to us. You choice!
If you choose the ftp then the best way to do it is to open windows explorer and type that address into the bar where it says My Computer.
Thanks once again for the feedback. 😀
I think the real thing that’s notible is the degree to which you can oustomise the user interface…
Does it remember how each user likes it to view the programe? if so that would be brilliant as the reception staff like a very different view to myself
Didin’t like the practitioner photo’s again space saving to see more diary.. but easy to get rid of…
The editor customisation is excelent.. it really helps to minimise unecessary data collection I really like this feature
Like the quick links docking…. like the double clicking to hide ribbon bars… and then single click to drop down/ hide…
No auto capitilisation occuring on staff editor I think…
will check out finances when I get a chance…
Impressed so far..
Colm 😀
Got it thanks… sorry didn’t realise!!
Hi are any of you using this company’s facilities… I’m particularly interested in their back up facility…
I’m currently trying it on a free trial… wondered if anybody else had been using it…
it’s as cheap as chips.. in comparison to english companies offering back up facilities
Can you share your experience… I’m interested if anybody’s had to test it & how robust is it…
Comments please!!!!! 😕 save me some leg work…
Colm
There is no need to try to allocate a Credit against Invoice Lines – in fact I do not understand the connection.
The lines are required so that one can report on the lines selected in the same way as one does for Invoices. For example a credit for Vitamiin “X” would be a negative line in the Vitamin X Items & Services Report and one for an Appointment overcharge would be a negative in any Appointment report/s.
In the case of allocations the Credit Note total is just another item to be allocated on the patient’s account together with the other Invoice/s, Refunds & Payment being allocated at the time – just as it is at present.
This does not help because if the Grid option is turned off one does not see the editied/inserted line.
Please do incorporate in 2007.
Thanks for the tip on entering a couple of letters.
Sorry Hedley I misinterpreted the definition of the “Payment – this is a credit- box” in the Manual (and had not got to the section dealing with the Refunds option)
Louis
I have checked the PCs we are using an the build is 1084.
Cheers
ClaireMay 30, 2007 at 9:26 pm in reply to: BUPA Invoice ….. They will only accept single invoice!!!! #31862Hiya,
That is a waste! I deal with BUPA and I send multiple invoices all together. They accept it and haven’t asked for single invoices. Neither has any other insurance company.Yes I am running build 1084.
I do however copy the database and use it on different computers – home & satellite practice.
I will check all computers to make sure that they are all on build 1084.
Perhaps my other query re account balances showing up as negative when they are actually in credit is tied in with this?
Cheers
ClaireHi Clare
Thanks for the suggestion. We will see what we can do!
Hi Clare sorry to hear that.
In the next update you will be able to enter a number within ClinicOffice so that your users can reply!
I hope this helps
Has this been fully resolved? I still have records with the payments showing part allocated even though the payment window shows the full amount having been allocated.
Thanks
ClaireIt would be great if the actual message could be recorded in the patient’s record with a date/time stamp in it.
Tried to sort this out but having trouble. Is there a step by step guide on how to do it via the Intelli Software site? Or should I call them?
Cheers
ClaireSo….is there a way that both the invoice and payment screens are backdated? Currently only the invoice is backdated, not the payment screen.
Hi,
This is something we will be working on for ClinicOffice 2007. Although it won’t be in the initial release – it will come later in the year.
We are aiming on it being possible to have not only the practitioners able to log into the system on a web browser but also the patients so that they can book their own appointments.
May 10, 2007 at 10:35 pm in reply to: Using Windows Remote Desktop to see your diary over net #31770The programme is called GoToMyPC and it’s a Secure Remote Programme that allows you access from anywhere in the world.. Cool eh!! 8)
https://www.gotomypc.com/tr/gg_UK/My_Pc/g25nopassUKlp?Target=mm/g25nopassUKlp.tmpl&Location=en_GB
Costs £11.99 a month or £9 a month on a yearly subscription but you can cancel at any time so maybe only use it when your going on holiday… free trial for 30 days…
Colm
Got it now, thanks. It was still in the unspecified folder and I didn’t check there.
Simon
Hi
Do you have both the letter to contact and the letter to patient reports? If not then you can download them from the forum here :-
http://files.pioneersoftware.co.uk/co2005/reportsPlease use the appropriate one for each.
The reason why your letter is coming up blank is that the contact name and address fields are called contactname and contactaddress, therefore it has to be a different letter for each of them.
I hope this helps.
I go to Reports and Templates. Choose any report from Letters file. Goto select patients/contacts. If I then select a contact, rather than a patient, the subsequent letter is blank.
Simon
Hi Colm
Thanks for the offer we will be in touch if it could be of some use to us. 😆
[report was sent to user as part of Support Plan service]
Hi
This is a great suggestion we will look at it for ClinicOffice 2007
Thanks
Hi
This is something we are implementing into ClinicOffice 2007.
Thanks
Hi
Would you please be able to tell me how you are creating these letters… As i am unable to recreate the problem.
Thanks
Hi Stephen
The Diary Print facility is undergoing review for the release of ClinicOffice 2007.
There are two ways you can do this print out.1. Click on print diary then press the CTRL+D button to go to the design#
Go accross to the Print Styles tab and in the times at the bottom just print
the morning (08:00 – 12:00) then go through the process again to print the
aftenoon (01:00 – 20:00) this will print all the information correctly for you.2. Click on the Reports and templates button and choose the appointment
list report. choose today in the ‘Start Is’ Field and press ok. This will
bring up the ClinicOffice word processor that you can print from.I hope this helps a little. Feel assured that we will have implimented an
easier way of printing the diary in ClinicOffice 2007We can of course do this but would it not be easier to email me the report containing the missing fields so that I can edit its layout myself? Thanks Steve
Definitely agree with that. It is something i asked ages ago but was told that everyone is used to the cursor being in the start time box so not likely to change…..would be much better in the patient/contact box.
Hi Louis
I am not sure how you are doing this but I would for instance create an item called “10 Treatment Plan” and give it a cost of 9 treatments (e.g. £180 if treatments were £20 each).
As regards the discount system, you can do this two ways in ClinicOffice either by specifying an invoice discount Invoice record, or by specifying a discount percentage for the patient on the Patient record. I understand that this may not cover your needs as regards “discounts schemes” but this is something we are looking at implementing after ClinicOffice 2007 ready.
I hope this helps a little!
Hi Louis,
We have just tested this and have not found a problem… please can you check this for yourself by doing the following :-
– Open the appointment diary
– Click diary options and tick show prefered intervals
– Refesh the diary
– Close down ClinicOffice
– Start it up again, log back on and you should find that the option remains ticked! Thanks.
Hi,
I’ve one appoinent which is (still) missing the icons, but with correct payments and sesionnotes. Just like yours…But after i’ve swiched to the automatic refreshment mode all icons did appear with the new payments and sessions.
Maarten
Ok I tried it but nothing happened. The two payments at the bottom are still not showing the pound icon even thought their invoices and payments have been entered. 😕
I’ve had the same problem after the upgrade 1080. I’ve tried the sugestion from Colm and my problem is solv
Click on Show Diary Options (right top corner of screen)
Tick refresh after saving
In the drop down menu select refresh every 30 seconds
This will probably sort it…I hope
